Sweeti Patel is Director of Operations at JohnsonPossKirby. She came to JPK in Spring 2023 as a legislative intern, working on bill tracking and redlining, documenting floor sessions and committee meetings, and preparing newsletters and client reports. In her new role she is performing similar work, as well as managing office operations and supporting JPK’s partners and stakeholders.

As an undergraduate student at Belmont University, Sweeti was deeply involved with student government and worked closely with the administration on student issues such as financial aid, sustainability and recycling initiatives, minority representation and safety. She also served as an intern for the Nashville Metropolitan Action Commission where she worked in constituent services and helped provide direct assistance to residents in need. She graduated magna cum laude in 2022 with a B.S. in Political Science and Philosophy.

Sweeti was born in Chicago but has lived in Hendersonville most of her life. She loves Nashville for its combination of “big city-small town” atmosphere and plans to return to the area after attending law school, which she intends to pursue in 2025.

Outside of work, Patel loves reading, politics and fashion. She is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
