Originally from East Tennessee, Sydney Luff got her bachelor’s degree from East Tennessee State University in Communication and Business Administration. As part of her undergraduate studies, she conducted award-winning research studies in Public Health and Interpersonal Communication. She went on to get her master’s degree from the University of Georgia in Interpersonal and Health Communication with a concentration in Public Health Research. 

After graduation, Sydney joined UGA as an assistant professor, where she designed undergraduate curricula and taught courses in applied research, data analysis and public speaking. In her free time, she brought her passion project to life, founding and directing a professional-level ballet company in Athens, Georgia.

Sydney joined JohnsonPossKirby in 2025 where her focus will be building new relationships, assisting clients through research and communication, and bill analysis and tracking. When Sydney isn’t at work, she can be found taking a class at the Nashville Ballet or playing with her five-year-old golden retriever.
